What is Quran?

  • Quran is the holiest book of muslim that is literally meaning is “The recitation” and it is called koran or qur’an in roman language. It is central religious text of muslim, which muslim believe from God(Allah). Quran really made in arabic language. That divided into different chapters(Surah). Each chapters are divided into verses(Ayah).
  • It is viewed as the best bit of writing in the Arabic dialect.
  • Muslims view this as the main book that has been shielded by God from twisting or defilement.
  • Muslims view the Qur’an as the most critical marvel of Muhammad, the evidence of his prophet hood and the perfection of a progression of heavenly messages uncovered to Adam and finished with Muhammad.

It having total 114 chapters of varying length each known as Sura. That classified as Meccan or Medinan. Each Sura starts with Bismillah except ninth. There are total 6,236 numbers of verses in Quran. Its having 77,430 words, from them 18,994 is unique words, 12,183 stems, 3,382 lemmas and 1,685 roots. The longest chapter, Surah al Baqarah, is 287 verses while the shortest, Surah al  Kauthar is only comprised of four.

Atymography : The word Qur’an shows up around 70 times in the Qur’an itself, expecting different implications. ” He read” or “he recounted.” An imperative importance of the word is the “demonstration of presenting”, as reflected in a before Quranic section: “It is for Us to gather it and to discuss it.” In different verses, the word alludes to “an individual entry discussed By Muhammad. Meaning of Quran: The Qur’an portrays itself as “the acumen or the basis amongst truth and deception”, “the mother book”, “the guide”, “the intelligence”, “the recognition”, and “the disclosure”.
